Rental With No Lease Agreement

I just got fired from the mother-in-law for whom I paid rent. The landlords knew I was living and I have paid for rent (to MIL), internet (directly), food and other bills since I moved in 7 months ago. She told me I had two days to move until I got paid. Is it legal? I am pretty sure I am entitled to 30 days` notice, since the landlords have agreed that I stay on the lease orally. The duration of the lease and the amount of the monthly rent are documented and cannot be changed. This ensures that the landlord cannot arbitrarily increase the rent only and that the tenant cannot simply leave the property whenever he wants, without effect. As a tenant after authorization, you are entitled to the „legitimate and exclusive ownership“ of the place you rent. This means that your landlord can only come to your home with your permission. If she doesn`t get your permission, she will go home invasion.2 Many homeowners think they can enter an apartment whenever they want, because they own the property. Your landlord can only enter your apartment in certain situations. For more information on when a landlord enters your apartment, see Chapter 8: Making Repairs: The Owner`s Right to Enter Your Home. To put it simply, an oral agreement is as binding as a written lease (but I would never recommend entering into a contract without a written contract).

It`s urgent, my mother just made an oral agreement with her owner, but the next day he said the deal was over and she had five days. Leaving, now 3 days (Tuesday) she doesn`t know what to do and we need help. She could not have 14 days because there was a clause on the lease that she would have 5 days to leave the premises. She made an oral agreement, and he cancelled it. Is there a lawsuit we could take against him? Please help, if the landlord agrees to partial payment of the rent, this will probably deny the existing pay rent or quit Notice. The landlord would have to start over with a new notification if they want to collect the remaining rent. I currently live in an apartment with a roommate and the owner owner of the apartment has been arrested and has not paid his mortgage or HOA fee for some time. He had made a verbal agreement with myself, that I didn`t have to pay rent as long as I went to school and kept the place. What happened again.

Now that he has been arrested, he has to spend time in prison, he decided to get rid of the place that leaves us and the roommate to leave the property. He served us with 7 days notice. And we received a letter in the mail that the HOA started the seizure process. The owner let a broker pass and tell us that he is selling the property that we must leave as soon as possible. It doesn`t seem fair, and all we ever had was an oral contract, never anything written. What can we do and there is something that allows us to stay in the apartment until we have time to find another place. The amount of the additional payment is more than $8,000. Obviously, he has not paid it since January and only came to tell us in September. Someone can help me, please…
